got scammed
I met a member on this forum BRABUS_E500 and purchased some things from him a while ago and basically never got half of the things including wheels and tires. Now I have no idea how to get a hold of him and am out a lot of $$$..this sucks because I am pretty tolerant with stuff but I thought I would put this out there and see if anyone can help me.

Did you meet him in person . I would think so since you gave cash . Bcuz mailing it is nono. Where did you meet before ? Where did this happen ? See if hes member on other forums . Im sure he can be tracked down. That sucks

of course no mailing..i did meet him in person and got his number but he never called back and no other contact info. i know some people on this forum know him so hopefully they can help me find him.

you gave him money and walked away with no products, expecting delivery at a later point? unless you have something in writing like an IOU, you're basically screwed.

i basically trusted him cause i bought some other stuff off him but then never got the wheels and could never get a hold of him. just seeing if people on the forum can help me out. thanks.

What was the agreement that had you hand over cash, under the assumption that you would receive the wheels later? Why not just wait until you met again for delivery? Was this only a deposit or payment in full? I can only assume that you were to meet him to pick up the wheels, as shipping them wouldn't make sense since you live close enough for a face to face with him.
I don't get it, why the prepayment? Something sounds like it's being left out.

I did 10 minutes of sleuthing for you, and think I discovered where he might be employed.
I found another forum that he is a member of, and it lists www.shopmoderne.com in his sig. He also lists "sales" as his occupation on this forum, so it fits. Unfortunately, they only list a PO Box as a mailing address but thought it might help, somehow. You can at least give the number a try.
