2005 E500 Estate Wagon
There are several reasons why they could be that way.
1. They didn't strip and blast them completely.
2. They just weren't good at powder coating.
3. They used less than acceptable powder or a crappy gun to coat.
4. They used powder with a textured finish.
When I do I wheel...I strip the paing chemically in a strip tank, then rinse it thoroughly...then sand blast it completely, then rinse, dry, and prep..then coat!!!!

It's a great idea....except I'm already busier than I like to be....and besides that.....OEM mercedes wheels are .....I'll just say, not the best wheels made...LOL!!!
