You will want to measure your current inner & outer clearance to make sure you have enough space for the wider wheels. below is the measurements.

2005 OEM SLK front wheels are 7.5" wide with a 36mm offset
2007 OEM SL55 front wheels are 8.5" wide with a 30mm offset
you will end up with 7mm less inner clearance & 19mm extended outer clearance so about 1/4 inch closer to the front strut & the wheel will stick out about 3/4" more on the outside.

2005 OEM SLK Rear wheels are 8.5" wide with a 30mm offset
2007 OEM SL55 Rear wheels are 9.5" wide with a 33mm offset
you will end up with 16mm less inner clearance & 10mm extended outer clearance so about 5/8" closer to the rear strut & the wheel will stick out about 3/8" more on the outside.

My guess is you will have the extra space for the wider wheels but you will want to measure to make sure.
