Apparently they use "red" thread lock on this little thing so when I went to unscrew the old stub the bolt that's inside started to spin. I had to drill a hole to access the bolt from the back and was able to unscrew the old stub and screw in the new one. After I took this picture I treated the bare metal with some paint and installed a rubber grommet to cover the hole. This eventually will be covered by trim so no big deal.
