Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Nearly Falls Off Dyno

A dyno is a great tool for tuners and hotrodders. It helps us figure out what’s wrong or what’s right with our cars. That said, I’m not a fan of the half dynos some shops employ. I never feel safe using them for fear my car might fall off, or isn’t strapped down enough for it to not come off and run through a door or something. That almost happened here with this lovely C63 AMG. Take a look.

The owner was testing out a new tune and exhaust system when it seems the straps went loose and the car almost shook itself off the rig. While many would have had a nice laugh if things went wrong, thankfully, nothing happens to the car or the driver. What is good is the exhaust he’s running.

The C63 is really just a hot rod, and it responds super well to old-school tuning. This C63 just has an EC V5 tune and stock pipes, but there are great ways of improving the exhaust noise of the car; for instance, this Akrapovic setup with an X-pipe.

It looks fantastic and sounds even better.

How about you: what have you done to your car to make it go faster and sound better?
