The recent makeover given by MEC Design on an old Mercedes-Benz model is likely to appeal to people who seeing V8 engines used on small cars. MEC Design gave the makeover to an old Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG.

The design of the vehicle was maintained even as a ConDeni Nobilis set of wheels added to the appeal of the car that was introduced during the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The wheels have crimson red accents that are also found on the body. The spokes were given a black finish.

The standard AMG suspension was optimized and adjusted by the tuning company. The vehicle was also given a MEC Design LED mirror and MEC Design Roof One Touch (ROT) module that allows users to control the roof while driving.

A standard model of the Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG features a 5.4-L V8 engine that offers 360HP. It also features the 7G-Tronic AMG-Speedshift transmission.
