With AMG Wagons, Rolling Shots Are the Best Shots
If you want to take car photography to the next level, all you need to add is some speed. Not shutter speed, but actual physical movement. A rolling shot of a car adds a dramatic flair that looks amazing. Here’s a fine example for you. MBWorld member trackjunky posted up a rolling shot the other day of his E55 AMG wagon, and I have been unable to stop staring at it. Taken on the water’s edge in New York, we have a bright blue sky, softly blurred rails, and a bridge fading into the distance.
The shot is too good to just let it be, so I had to bring it to the front page.
It’s not the only rolling shot in the thread though. Not to be outdone by artwork and talent, member Chesapeake added his own rolling shot to the thread, and it may be the best thread response I have ever seen.
It’s his old wagon ready to roll away on a rollback truck. It’s a double rolling shot. Roll-ception, maybe? Regardless, it was entertaining as hell to be drooling over that great first shot and then stumble onto this photo.
Good work, everyone. We have won the Internet for the day.
