I'll get the wife's camera out later to get some better shots.

After buying expensive $100 spacers in the past I decided to go with cheap $20+ ones on ebay and there is now difference, same metals and specs. The lug bolts are any MB,AUDI,VW ball set and 1.5 threads you see on ebay will work fine.

I went 1st with 12mm in the rear but because my car is non sport with the 18" wheels it needed a bit more. If anyone local with the sport package wants the 12mm set let me know.

The stock was 28-30mm, I found 33mm for the front and 42mm in the rear from the same store on ebay. I got the rear thinking it would be for the 12mm spacers but I was able to get a good 8-9 turns on the 15mm spacer. It was a challenge getting the black bolts online because all the searches for MB came up silver from the older MB's

If you use good quality tint you don't notice any difference at night or day looking from in the inside out. Back in the 80's is when the tint was dark from in the inside out.

I would measure but just from looking at a distance I would think 10-12mm rear and 5mm front max. If I put 10-12mm front on even my car it would be sticking out like a Mexican low rider and my car is much more recessed then yours.

Huper Optik, 3M Crystalline, 3M Ceramic, F1 Pinnacle, Suntek, other??
The last time I tinted a car was in the year 2000, so yeah, I'm not surprised if the tech has advanced since then. I have a lot to read up on the various options out there now before making a choice. I had stopped tinting my cars for the last 15 years because there were many reports of certain films interfering with radio reception, window streaking, and other general issues with my cars at the time.
EDIT: Oops.. I didn't catch the 3M in your first post.. thought 3M was just the wrap. Either way.. which 3M film?

2015 C300 RWD AMG SPORT ~ Iridium Silver
3M Crystalline - 40% Yesterday
Sorry I posted 3M and it wasn't even their top of the line it was the one before their top, I didn't notice any changes on the shop display for their most expensive product it just gave a longer warranty but this is a lease. My last car was Huper Optik also a great product but I got tired of the green look it had.
.
3M Crystalline - is a Top Tier Tint -- but even at 40% I STILL THINK IT IS TOO DARK. The windows come from the factory with some built in tint -- I wish I had gone say 50% - to really give my Iridium Silver a factory look.
.
.
In Alabama - you really need the tint but it does not have to be dark to significantly reduce IR & UV.

Hey - reviving an old thread - how did you wrap the window and trunk trim? I just got a c300 last week and coming from BMW's...no clue as to how to remove these or how to wrap them. Also how much wrap did you need to use and what brand did you use?

Also want to know. Has anyone removed the trim?

I got a roll of 5ftx 6ft 3M 1080 gloss black from amazon and it was enough to do both side windows, rear trunk trim and front lower lip. I could have save more film if I measured carefully..
