Is my Supercharger Friction Plate worn out? <PICS>

I pulled the supercharger wheel today to get a new bearing pressed in. I have a prob though. I don't know if the friction plate is shot or not. It looks worn but I can't find any pictures of new ones. I been looking for a while. Anyone know if this is in spec? I would like pictures and links please? Mmmmkay..

I know it looks worn out but the metal plates are supposed to touch and there's little tolerance between them. It's like 1 mm or something. Trying to find if it's out of spec.

. the wear is why you get the clutch chirp. take some emory cloth and clean both sides up and reinstall and check the gap. as close as possible without touching. you will be fine

GMC - Miata - Trek - P-Car
Seems there’s no unusual wear occurring on yours.

Clearance specification is .25mm to .30mm. Mine when fitting a fresh bearing at ~85,000 miles:

Old thread sorry to dig up but had a question....

I just took off my supercharger pulley and checked the back of it and it looks really worn similar to what you see in these pics from other posters - anyone know what the difference is in the black metal rings vs silver metal colored rings?

I am asking because I was going to try lightly sanding down the wear marks with some very fine sandpaper but not sure if you should avoid touching the black ring area vs silver ring area (or if that even matters).

I am doing this based on what several other posters have suggested as a temporary fix to the loud supercharger "chirp" that i've had ever since installing my 178mm crank pulley, but never found a fix for.

I know there are shims u can get to stop it from rubbing, is the belt slipping? the chirp there only on full throttle?
I wouldn't sand anything I would use the shims

Morphh - yeah the chirp is most noticeable when driving at low speeds and i push the pedal about 50% or more and the acceleration kicks in and that annoying chirp comes. it is a constant sound as you accelerate and changes depending on how much i press the accelerator while the SC is engaged. if cruising at 65mph and then i hit the pedal to full kick down you also hear it for sure then until going back to cruising speed.... this noise is making me nuts!

2003 Mercedes c32 amg supercharger chirping noise - YouTube
I would check ur belt tensioner, mine used to make a clicking chirping sound cause it was
worn out, mine would click. U have 65mm sc pulley, I think u might need 1 shim. My 65mm did not need any shims
It's when car is under load it seems like, I would check tensioner mine would similar noise
