Fuel injector cleaning?
What do other owners recommend? I was thinking going to shop and have their fuel injector system cleaner process since in all 7.5 years of ownership never had anything done besides the typical bottle poured into gas tank. Thanks

I work for an MB dealership in Canada, and we exclusively use TerraClean for injector services. Check out their website. We have a terraclean machine, and we use their chemical flush and it works very well. Have seen flow tests done before and after... also if you use it properly it injects into the intake as well and cleans that out. On the diesels it makes a huge difference!!!
They also have an application guide, where they will show you where the fuel pump disable is... and where to connect to the fuel rail with pictures and diagrams... very good company and product.

Are there 'little things' like this that you do, or do you only rely upon the mechanic?
I have no mechanical ability or knowledge, but intend on learning...now.
Thank you again,
Peter
PS: I have not found 93 octane in Maine yet...91 is the highest I have found. Anyone else only able to use 91?

I'm with you: new and having a blast. The comfortable ride and sporty handling...this is something I thought was mutably exclusive.
