E55 ENGINE GOING IN MY 2000 43

I know you didn't ask me, but as I have one I'll say it feels fantastic. And so much more drivable w/many more % of low-end torque above what the 4.3L engine produces; it [the 4.3L engine] loves the high revs but is a bit thin in the 2K - 3.5K RMP range. Otherwise a 5.4L transplant in a C43 should make for a 13.2 - 13.4 sec 1/4 mile eta.

update
Finally I got it out,
So with the strange weather we are having I was able to get the car out on Friday night My Goodness I was heading to the movies but by the time I got there I just felt like driving so I went for a 200km drive and just let everything adapt at first I was scared anxious and just trying to keep myself from hammering it after about 125k into the drive I had to kick it HOLY S*******t I love it it has this longer less rpm but the frekin thing just keeps climbing now that it is settling in I installed the high flow cats on Saturday but she is still loud if you kick it I will have to do a video soon. I will be taking it to the shop on Monday hopefully get the dyne done. I must say it is very nice but I think I will do some more mods later.I am looking for some Renntech Monolites in18''.

hello, this might be little of the subject but I will still ask, I have c43 kleemann supercharged looking to replace spark plugs.
What are the most ideal spark plugs for c43 supercharged? I know it should be 1-2 range colder and not platinum, preferably copper or iridium.
Thanks for the help, i would recommend doing spark plugs if the engine is still out.
My long goal is to implant w210 e55 engine in my c43 and cover it with kleemann SC and to add Kleemann long headers.

PROJECT FINALLY DONE
Well it's been a while since I last posted
I have been away.
Now my project is finally done and I could not be happier
E55 engine and trans tip.
Kleemann headers
Kleemann high flo cats
Kleemann ecu full tune and speed delimited .
I was debating on the Kleemann tune but I am so happy I did, after all the work and time it was worth every penny. I'll enjoy it for the summer and install the Kleemann supercharger next winter if I need it
already having traction issues.
According to Cory at Kleemann the car will adapt somewhat and run fine with stock ecu but with the ecu tuned to the swap it is now able to run like a 55 which I noticed see when I was driving the E55 before the swap the gears seem like it was pulling longer and harder then after the swap I felt that the 43 was pulling very hard but not long which means it would peak faster in less distance now it pulls like a train long and hard.
If I ever have to do it again would I do it....HELLL YA.
I will like to thank everyone one this forum for all the great info and feedbacks I would not have done it without all of you

Another member could not get his swap running right. He put the 43 back in though and still had the issue, so probably not swap related.

Sorry for the excessive bump, but the thread may have created a monster in me. Wow, a great tale.
It just so happens I am meeting with Charlie tomorrow at 2:30pm to discuss an older MB that has been under his service/care for 5+ years; MB Factory Warranty prior, back to purchase date. Second owner for the past seven of ten (or eleven), service maintained as per MB schedule. Car a USA import, totally Canadian-ized by MB of Canada, expensively, but correctly, I understand.
For me this next MB would represent (stock form) an nice upgrade in power and space, with seriously low mileage for the age and condition it is.
Yikes though! Now an engine swap seed has been planted after reading of your success winks911—I may have to make own special MB. at McNally's
Good thing I live in Toronto.
