Hey Zayed Thanks
Yes I was just thinking the same thing about the water inlet is not that the E55 does not have it....Is the 2000 C43 that was made different I'll take some pictures next time I go to the shop. Ok for the shafts they both are two piece and both have flex disc but for some reason the E55 size seem so much bigger.....again I'll be able to compare when that also comes out.

Surely WELCOME.,, about the flex discs, both got 110mm, C43 & early E55 got "3" legs with 6 bolts started with "170 or 210" p/n,, but the
late E55 got "4" legs with 8 bolts, started with "129" p/n.......

Update,
Well I passed by Mcnallys Shop yesterday and things are progressing just fine E55 is almost back together and they are just reconnecting all the fine stuff engine is back in and I should have the E55 back soon.Hopefully Friday.
The C43 on the other hand, we decided to do the Kleemann headers since everything is out and I got a good deal from Cory at Kleemann once the headers arrive and installed the engine will be ready to go back in.
When that is all done the ecu is going to Kleemann for upgrade.

Update
FINALLY I got back my E43 today Ha Ha and it runs smooth everything works as should but way smoother than before, But it lost its grunt, angriness and it just seems calm. So I can just imagine when the C43 is done if this any indication of what is to come I can't wait ! If any one has driven an E55 then drives an regular E class you will know what I mean, but its ok because it is exactly what I want calm and docile for winter and everyday and weekend in summer drive the beast. Just waiting for Kleemann Headers to arrive so it can be installed while the engine is out everything is already done but figure I'll get this done and not have to deal with it later plus it is a much easier install out of the car.
The car fired up in the first crank after leaving the ignition on for the fuel lines to get full and then started abs lights and other few lights came on but went of after a few mins other than that I am going to get a dyno done just to make sure it is not running lean.
No regrets.....!

Thanks Bro
The Kleemann headers are in being installed tomorrow just waiting for some small parts that has been sent out for polishing .
Hopefully the engine will be going in Monday of Tuesday.
Hey did you all know that when installing Kleemann headers you loose the two front Cats well I only found that out today. I will have to decide weather or not to purchase high flow cats or just reinstall the two rear cats which were removed earlier in the year. Well I will leave it for now and decide later.

It would probably be a good idea to go with new high-flow cats. The 43 cats won't be designed for the flow of your 5.5 (5.4?) anyway. Didn't someone post a picture of a C43 cat they'd gutted that showed like a 1.75 inch inlet hole? Then put a y-pipe after the cats to a 3 inch pipe back to your AMG muffler. The inlet to the muffler is 2.75 inches, so you'll need a reducer. I believe that would flow plenty fine for the 5.5 and it would be a great exhaust for a C55. I'd add an electric cutout in the 3 inch pipe before the muffler for fun. Just dump it down by the drivers rear wheel. There's room for it there.

UPDATE
OK
FINALLY................ WOW.....I AM LOST FOR WORDS...!
Passed by to see the progress and what progress there was, As was asking into the shop saying hi to everyone I am listening to this grumble in the shop not sure where it was coming from,I looked on the hoist and my car was not in the air that was a good sign and then I looked closer to see the rest of the mechanics surrounding my car suddenly I realized that the Grumble was coming from my C43 now officially converted. I was very very happy, they had just started it about a minute before I walked in the door.
So all seems to have worked out just fine and I can't wait to drive this car, all that is left to do is wrap one harness close to the headers just a precaution and find my some good high flow cats.
If anyone had good experience with their cats please let me know I was going the secondary cat clean out which is what I did but this thing is quite loud and smells a bit so I will pick up the car tomorrow and take it back into storage and research the cats and will get that done in spring.
I must say that I still don't regret doing this swap especially with all of you and your input could not have done this.
Just wanted to say thanks.
I haven't even driven the car yet but with Mcnallys working on my car I honestly have to say I'm not even worried their workmanship standards are much higher than I expected.

Haven't totalled up the bill quite yet I'll know tomorrow when I pick up the car
when I picked up the E55 at that time the time was 25.5 hrs and That was taking out both engine swapping all the parts from one engine to the other and putting the E55 back together. What I did was paid for the labour up to that point now, Tomorrow when I pick up the C43 I will only have to pay for taking out the engine and reinstalling no swap time plus headers had some slight refitting to do. Hey the job that these guys did was so clean.. I am usually one of the pickiest person things has to be a certain way if you know what I mean and for me not to complain about anything this was definitely a first.
If ever I was worried about something or had a question they already had the answer or was waiting for me to get there for them to ask me what I wanted to do.
This swap could have been done much faster but I was in no rush and nor was Charlie, Charlie came out plain and simple and said to me if you are in a rush
please take it somewhere else but if you are not then by all means he will do it but not full time only when his specialist was free he will work on my car and I will be billed by time. I was quite happy that arrangement therefore it gave me time to think about any upgrade or anything else. Other than labour the only other charges will be fluids for both cars and air condition to be gassed up.
Thank the lord that everything went well and no problems like the last swap that had been attempted I would have gone crazy.

UPDATE
Well I know it is long overdue
I did't think there was much interest and I was overseas on projects.
Anyways I did all of the conversion without a hitch I got the car two days before I left and excited but not too anxious. I was really happy the way everything turned out and really couldn't ask for more, The only thing left to finish is the Kleeman high flow cats which I received today car is still in storage but due to the nice weather lately I may bring it out on Saturday .
My final upgrades were just E55 engine and transmission with tiptronic E55 mounts, Kleeman headers, Renntech Air Intake all cats delete and Kleeman secondary 200cel Cats. When I test everything I will get the dyno test done but as far as everything was done Kleeman does not even need to do any ecu upgrades . Car feel mean Angry and a very nice tone from the exhaust.
