C63 arrived at dealer!
Hi All, it's my first thread on here, and actually my first ever Mercedes Benz - I have mostly been a BMW man, and having owned an E93, E90 M3 and up until now an F10 M5, thought a change to a C63 would be something a little different!
Anyway I ordered my car back in mid May, it was due in at the dealer on the 24th, which seemed to advance to the 20th.....but yesterday my dealer emailed me to say he had just spotted it on the transporter and would text me some pics over.
My spec is:
Polar White
Black/Red Pepper leather
Premium package
19" 5 spoke AMG alloys
AMG Night Package
AMG Performance Exhaust
I will of course post some proper pics when I collect her on the 1st September but here are a few for now, hope you share my excitement lol

Great choice of car.
I saw the new M5 anniversary being discussed on Pistonheads and wondered if the right choice was being made but then I saw the price and decided the C63 is a shed load better value.
Enjoy!!

I did fancy an M4 but the 6 pot engine massively put me off, so sticking with the V8 theme, I thought I would try a test drive in the C63 and instantly fell for it. It sounded superb, drove well and loved the interior.
A few pics of the outgoing M5 below!

Interesting as for me it was an F10 M5 or C63S. As the F10 is an older gen car when doing finance it's actually the cheaper of the 2 cars currently based on the offers BMW are throwing behind it. Especially with the C63S being new and offers limited.
They loaned me one for 2 days (Competition pack model) and it's an amazing machine but just a bit bigger than I like a car to be and also fancied a change from BMW as it would have been my third in a row. Didn't get to drive a C63S but did a C63 and it felt nicer to throw in corners due to the reduction in weight plus the engine sounds better, especially with the flaps open
The C63 lacked the missile feel of the M5 but hoping the S gets it a bit closer but accept it probably won't be quite as quick. The M5 without reading on it I suspect is torque limited in lower gears as you set off at quite a pace and then a gear change or two later there's an extra kick that comes in of even more pace.
The traction control in my initial testing though is better in the Merc, the F10 reigns the car in too much if you over do it. The tech also seemed that bit nicer as its a newer car and the interior is also a step above in the Merc. Both are amazing cars however.
I'm based in the UK and picking up my C63S on 1st Sept with same colour inside and out (I've got the black rims though as well).

We considered an M as well.... but the quality control issues and limp modes issues on our previous 550i, and X5 5.0 Dinan Stage II steered us far away from Bav Motor Werks.
The tq lim on the 550i in 1st and 2nd was terrible...... and the X5 5.0i Dinan Stage II had all sorts of problems with fuel injectors, limp mode, ecu issues.
