Something wrong need some help!
I turned off traction control completely(for the first time) and took a turn a little to hard and lost control. I was turning right, but the car ended up facing left after the turn, now my front tires/front part of the car, vibrates and makes some sort of a noise? or a vibration? but it's hard to explain because i cant pick out what is actually making the noise. So basically all I can say is there is a noise coming from the front of the car that seems to be centrally located, It happens at any speed from 0-45, I didnt drive faster then that after it happened. Any ideas what it can be???
I haven't driven it since, I checked after it happen everything seemed normal on the car. I couldn't see any physical damage in the inside of the wheel well or any of the tires or bolts.
Thanks guys

No, I didn't hit anything but I was thinking the exact thing. I just took it around the block, and it sounds/feels like the is something wrong when the tires rotate? Could I have messed up the alignment? or bent something?

i would think it's hard for something to have gone wrong like that unless you hit something... people drift in these cars along with tracking and drag racing... a little spin out shouldn't have caused any problems... maybe a trip to the dealer is in order

Welcome to the world of ungodly torque and deactivated traction control. Congratulations! and to state what others have stated, I doubt you ruined anything, you might just be a little shaken up by the incident.
I would just check the torque of the lug nuts and see if any lugs are loose.

he said he slid the front from right to left. if he was on the brakes the fronts are not going to be turning at all or very little just sliding grinding the tires out of round. doesnt take much to do with soft compound tires. if he hit anything with the rim or sidewall with any lateral force you can pop a weight as well. i would just check the front tires on a jack spin them by hand you will be able to see it. i dont think you could hurt any of the suspension if you just slid.

fronts dont really wear except for the inside shoulders. with the vibration you can wear out suspension bushings and bearings faster. id just get a new set of fronts and call it a day.

I have done a hard braking once at 85mph in a car that didn't have ABS and I locked the tires during the braking. I had a vibration the moment that I started rolling after unlocking the tires.
It seems to me that you put a heavy flatspot on one or more of your tires which it could cause a heavy vibration. I don't think that you broke anything, just a big time balancing tire issue. Best of luck and please check those tires(take them to have it balnaced).

^^ That is no more no less what me and someone just told you. You hit the brakes very hard while turning and all the front end pushed down with the inertia causing the tires to wear very ast in one single spot.

He is not referring to tires going out of round from sitting in one position for long periods of time.

Savoy6 is referring to flat spotting a tire from locking the brakes and causing extreme wear to one part of the tread surface from the resulting skid. Happens to soft compound tires quite easily.

Yes, then that is definitely a possibility.
