I would be visiting that dealer first thing tomorrow morning for a fix on them. That's a safety issue so they need deal with it on the spot, while you have coffee in the waiting area.

First, I would be pissed to high levels of 'pistivity." All dealers should have headlights assemblies in stock for the safety reasons. I always understood that you could take your MB to any dealer to deal with lighting issues on the spot. If not, I'm asking for a loaner over the weekend until they fix their mess.

Yea, I can see the strips... After you'll resolve everything in whatever way you'll do that - find another dealer. Not all dealerships are the same, even if they all sell the same brand of the car, so you might still find one that will treat you and your car properly.
