2012 C63AMG Sedan Vossen VVS-CV3 Fitment Question
Hello all,
I just wanted to find out if anyone knows that there will be no issues with the following setup for wheels and tires I am considering to get for my 2012 C63 Sedan:
Front: 19"X8.5", +45 Offset, 5X112 Bolt Pattern, 66.56mm Hub With Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 235/35ZR19 Y
Rear: 19"X10", +55 Offset, 5X112 Bolt Pattern, 66.56mm Hub With Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 275/30ZR19 Y
Any issues with rubbing with this setup? I am on STOCK suspension and do not plan to change it in any way.
-Thanks!

Thanks Mike...I am also curious to know if aftermarket tire pressure sensors will work, or if I should have the wheel shop put in Mercedes OEM sensors that I can buy and give them to install?
-Thanks

Definitely no rubbing with +55mm rear with 275/30/19 on stock height, actually even lowered u will be fine.
The front won't be flush/aggressive though.. I would go 19x8.5 +40mm with 245/35/19.. Unless u don't like the flush look.

crazy1eye, you could always use 5mm-10mm spacers to push them out.

Yeah, the inner clearance is smth to look for.. But I've seen many ppl running this set-up, so it should be fine.

2012 C63AMG Sedan Vossen VVS-CV3 Fitment Question
Thanks for all the input guys!
Question for Roswell and noodleman:
So for a trouble free no rubbing under any conditions on a 2012 C63AMG Sedan, is the following setup safe to go with the 19" VVS-CV3 Vossens as follows:
Front: 19X8.5 +45 With 245/35/19 Hankook Ventus V12 Tires
Rear: 19X10 +55 With 265/30/19 Hankook Ventus V12 Tires
All on STOCK suspension. I would like to avoid using spacers if possible.
Thanks!

Perfect combo.. That will give u a more flush look in the front (still better if u find + 40mm), and the rear is definitely conservative with 265/30/19. That's the exact size & tire brand I'm running on my HRE. My 275/30 was rubbing a bit on the passenger rear, so I went down to 265/30.

The issue with the CV3 would be clearing the C63 calipers, if any one in Miami want to try my CV3 on a C63, let me know.

What issue do you see with VVS-CV3 clearance on the C63 with the brakes? I was looking online for example at carid.com and as per their site this wheel will not have any issues with clearance? If you know of someone having issues, I would like to know before I place the order!
Thanks.
Thanks.

If its stock suspension you will have no issues, and can actually go a few mms more aggressive with the offsets. Honestly though i highly suggest the h&r springs with your current wheel specs for the perfect drop/look. That 3/4" makes a huge difference in the car's look.
This doesn't include checking if the wheel clears our rear calipers.

What would you recommend as the correct front and back offset that would guarantee no rubbing front and back and also the best tire size with 19" VVS-CV3 to look good without any turning radius or rubbing issues?
Also if I go from 55 offset to say 53, is it basically pushing the wheel outwards more?
Thanks!

Yes on the +53mm offset, ur pushing ur wheel out more by 2mm.
Best combo is a relative question, it all depends on ppl choice of look.
I can share my set-up, but it's not the best combo for everyone. So I can say for sure 19x8.5 +40mm w/245/35/19 & 19x9.5 +50mm w/265/30/19 is not rubbing on H&R springs.
But the sky is the limit on stock height.. U can do 19x9 +40mm & 19x10 +53mm no problem.

So my issue then is that the VVS-CV3 in 19" only comes with the 45 offset upfront (19X8.5) and 55 offset for the (19X10) in the back...Since I do not want to use spacers on stock springs (and no plan of lowering) will I still be okay with 19X8.5 ET45 front and 19X10 ET55 in the back with no rubbing? Next I will need to make sure that the C63 calipers will clear without any issues :-)

In this case, u are still fine with these specs.. Now u have to find out if the spoke design will not rub ur calipers.. Or else, u won't have a choice to use spacers or buy a different design.

Bringing back from the dead. I ordered some CV3's with the exact same setup today and they are:
Front: 245-35-19 19x8.5
Rear: 265-30-19 19x10
Both on Hankook Ventus V12. Does anyone know if this will clear my brakes? I could go 275 rear, but I will eventually install a suspension. Any thoughts on that? I would prefer a 275 rear.
My R-Comps (NT01's) are 275-35-18 rear on a 18 Forgestar F14. They have no rubbing with rear passengers, stock suspension.
Thanks.

19" VVS-CV3 on C63AMG
Believe me, I was crazy about getting the CV3 for my C63 as well...I searched and searched and asked around and finally got confirmation from 3 wheel shops that the 19" do NOT clear the C63 calipers, AND the only size that does clear them is 20"...The back 20X10 WILL need a 5mm spacer to clear the brakes.
Now my only hope is to wait for the Precision Series line which are forged and the guys at Vossen tell me that they will be able to fit those on any car in 19" or bigger diameters with big brakes.
