2012+ C63C Rear bumper to fit 09 C63 sedan?
I need your help on this one. I have the opportunity to buy a 2013 front and rear bumper coming from a coupe.
As i'm looking at retrofitting my 09 with a fresher look. I know the front bumper will fit. Will the rear bumper fit?
As well these bumpers come with parking sensors. Since my car do not have parktronic can i make them work? And what other part will i need?
I would appreciate any kind of input from y'all. Thx

When you say "make them work" in reference to the parktronic, do you want to retrofit parktronic? Or do you simply mean "make it look right" on your car?
Because you can do one of three things with your bumper that has parktronic holes even though your car is not equipped with them. Either you can retrofit parktronic (requires someone with the extended knowledge to do so as well as some money), or you can buy the parktronic sensors and install them in the different positions but not hook them up to anything, or you can have the body shop fill all of the holes and then paint the bumper.

I meant by "make them work", make them actually work as parking sensors. How much are you talking about to retrofit parktronic?
Could it be cheaper with an aftermarket parking aid system?

Looks like it fits according to the picture of that sedan.

By the way did you manage to get/install a 2012 bumper?

Buying aftermarket parking sensors will be easier to install and cost less, but not sure if parking sensor holes on the 2013 fit aftermarket sensors. Check it out:

I'd contact MBenzNL who does a ton of factory retrofits to find out about price and difficulty in doing this. I'd imagine parts alone would be over $1,000.

So i have an update for you guys. The answer to my original post is YES.
Just received a rear bumper from a coupe (thanks to Craig) and decided to give it a try. It's not a perfect fit since i'll have to find a way to bolt the diffuser onto the car (underneath) but so far the end result pleases me.
The parking aid sensors fit in with no problem which means i'll be able to retrofit the OEM system (next on my list of mods)
Now that i know it's possible i'll send it for some good painting to match my artic white

Don't you feel like there's too much lettering on your trunk? Something I'd suggest and still be able to show off C63, AMG, and Renntech is by replacing the 63 on the left wide with a 6.3AMG fender badge. Then you can remove AMG on the right and replace it with Renntech.
Someone did something similar on their S63 and I thought it looked pretty cool:
But if you're happy with the way it is now, just ignore everything I've said!

Thanks for the suggestion but i'm not a big fan. The car came with all those lettering so i guess i got used to it. The only mod i did was to plastidip and that is why you feel it's too much. Black on white effect probably. I might just remove the Renntech badge later. I'm just lazy right now

Cool bro. It was just a suggestion and certainly everyone has their own taste and I can appreciate that.
No, it wasn't the black (which I think looks really nice on your car). It's just too busy for me!
As someone else mentioned with the diffuser, get a CF one! The question is, are the coupe and sedan diffusers the same when going aftermarket?

I was thinking about getting a diffuser from a coupe. But that is a good question.

you know, you should source black side skirt and front bumper and have this white top black bottom theme going
bumper looks great and does look like a good fit.

Well bumper is dark grey and yeah that is what i thought when i first looked at it. I do have the front bumper as well same color and i thought i could create a new style with all bottom dark!lol!
But my common sense came back so it won't happen

2012 coupe front bumper
There have been lots of questioning about whether or not a facelift front bumper will fit a pre-facelift sedan. I did the experience this past week end and all i can say is yes with a few modification. It's not a direct fit since you have to find some space for the DRLs, probably cut into the polystirene as the one that came with the bumper was larger than my original one. There is as well a gap at the bottom of each headlights.
Overall it's possible so I guess with the help of a body shop you could get rid of these discrepencies. I still need to figure out a way to wire the DRLs as i don't want to use them as fog lights. Anyone has a facelift wiring diagram that could help understand how it works? Or maybe it's just software?

Looks amazing. I'm a rookie on all of this but why not just get the face lift/newer headlights since you already put the front bumper on. Couldn't that solve the space/gap? They'd also look amazing. I'm looking into them for my 09' but seems I may have to go aftermarket with the Spyder ones.
