Wow, I just read the thread of Craiger,….
His specs are:
F 19" x 9.0 +21
R 20" x 11.0 +29.5
Hmmmm, I already paid and ordered the Velos wheels but in 20 inch.
I hope they will ship it as soon as possible, I did not hear from them anymore when they had received the payment…..
(i hope they are not f**king with me, because they said they will ship asap if they received the payment)
We will see if I have the wheels, what the specs would be. Maybe it would have the same spec like Craiger did.
I hope not to use the wheelspacers, but to change the rear axle into a E axle to fit the OEM wheel offset, hmmmm…. I think spacers would be cheaper.
But too much spacer is not so good either…
We will see when the wheels arrive.
What are coilovers?
I cannot find that word in my dictionary, my English is not so good…
I read on Craigers thread a warning from Dad'sC63:
"…...
One HUGE word of warning to all BS conversion guys. Just in front of the rear tires will get sand blasted in high speed events. I did NOT see that coming. I did a Dupont Registry Airport event last Friday night and we were giving rides. It was a blast but when I got home both rear quarter panels in front of the rear wheels was sand blasted. Not funny. Back to the paint shop again. CRAPP!!!!!!!!!!
I'll have the 3M tape on it next time. Just letting you know. ….."
Does he mean the sand blasted through the gap in the front fenders?
If that so, I can tell my body shop not to open the gap.
At the moment now my fenders have not a gap there:
At the pics it looks like it has a gap, but it is closed…
Thanks for your compliments and tips guys

I think u should put 3M tape on the rear quarter panel cuz rock & sand will hit that portion for sure since ur front wheels are wider & ur rear fender flares are sticking out = bad mix lol

As for the Velos wheels , if they were made for the BS the offset should be a bit below +25f & +47r (stock BS size).
So if u compare with Craiger, the front should be good.. But the rear offset is too high compared to +29.5 from Craiger (and I remember he installed 10mm spacers - not stated in the thread.. So his offset is now 19.5).
Regarding coilovers, they are adjustable height shocks/springs assembly. H&R & KW makes them for our cars.

I will let my body shop know about that.
About the coilovers:
My other bodyshop who did my roof said also I should do that with a remote control?
So I can raise up mij wheels when driving some upstacle here in the Netherlands like this:
There are a lot of these reduce-speed obstacles, so they advised me to have that option with remote control to raise/lower my wheels
for not damaging inside the fenders.
And here in holland there are a lot, really a lot of these damn obstacles! Even more worser than these pics….
I think after the kit, I will take this option...

I wouldn't install air suspension on such a nice car. Plus it adds weight to the car & everytime u mess with the height, u mess with ur alignment.. Bad mix again.
Speed bumps are common everywhere, you should not worry about rubbing with ur wheels.. More like scraping ur front bumper. Just get a nice set of KW's V3 & adjust it to the height u like & the dampening/comfort u like = game over.
As for the wheels, ask the vendors about the offset.

i cant wait to see final picture...please take final PICTURE WITH STOCK WHEELS AND STOCK SUSPENSION BEFORE and see how high it is then PICTURE IT AFTER
so we can compare before and after ...then we know infuture if anyone doing this they can measure by eyes how many spacers they would need..if u know what i mean

29/11 Update: Bodykit
Hello guys,
I went today to the body shop and it is still not finished, they need 2 more weeks.
Fortunately, my modified kit is ready and the car will be painted next week.
Here are some pics of the front: the front lip they made in carbon as even the stripes in the intakes too
Side skirts: a part I let them do either in carbon too
The carbon vins in the bumper
This hood is just the prototype.
The finished one is still in the mold.
The diffusor: they just put some vins beneath it, I don't what to think about.
It seems so empty.
Anyone some ideas? I cut off the diffusor because I wanted something different.
Or is it just looks empty because it is not finished yet?
Finally I got my last carbon parts to make it complete:
- The grill - I think it would be better I took the facelift '12 - I was too late, I ordered this one, but I like this too
- Air vent for behind the seats
- Plate holder
A total pic
I see the wheels are very small now, I need them larger.
According to Velos wheels, they will ship the wheels next Monday.
I am curious how it would be with those wheels...
So the car is now ready for painting.
Cannot wait for the final result.

A bigger spoiler: that is what the guy also said who is doing my car!
Maybe he will create a little big bigger then the mode carbon?

I like the CF lip and CF vents in the rear bumper.
The hood is too aggressive. I think the front is aggressive enough so a stock black series hood would be perfect.
As for the rear diffuser, it looks just right. Don't over-do it

I don't know….I asked Velos about the specs but they never replied me about the specs.
I still don't have the wheels yet.
Now they say they will ship it today.
I am still waiting for the tracking code…
I hope I don't have to use spacers, but they say i won't use it because these wheels are made for black series, so it will be fit good because I have the same wide body kit,
maybe for the rear I need some spacers.
I will let you know if the wheels are here…

Hello Guys,
I get my Velos wheels finally tomorrow!!
But I don't know anything about tires, the wheels are 20 inch.
The Mercedes dealer advised me not to take smaller than 25 cm in the front (i don't know how the name is for the thickness) and 30 cm back.
Will I not hit my fenders if I take 25cm in the front when driving on a speed bumper?
Or should I take the KW soil covers with air pressure
