With 20x10 in front I would go with 255/35/20 or 265/35/20.
For the rear 20x11 I would get 285/30/20 or 295/30/20.

But wait until you get the wheels and test fit them.

You can also ask Velos, what tire sizes they had on this Black series:

Yes I finally got the Velos wheels today!

There is only a problem: the wheels sticks out about 2 cm in the front and in the rear.
But is that a problem?

I went to the mercedes dealer and they advised me to bring my car first to them when my car is ready.
So they will look what are the best tires for me, before buying now the new tires.

Here is a pic you can see the wheel in the front sticks a few centimeters.
I hope it will be not a problem...

2cm? That's quite a lot if you decide to lower the car.
You will need to run stretched tires so for example 255/35/20 front and 285/30/20 rear

How is the quality of the wheels?

The wheels are sticking out a lot, I guess the real BS kit & the aftermarket kit are different? Unless Velos screwed up the offset on ur wheels?

I would be afraid to damage ur kit with such agressive wheels.

Yeah those are sticking out a little much, one hard bump and you aren't rubbing, your hitting direct, may actually bend/crack a fender or 1/4. Unless a really stretched (do not recommend) tire is utilized...?
Maybe look into machining the hub to try and reduce the offset a bit.

I hope there will be not a problem if I take stretched tires, otherwise I have to buy some new wheels man!

Maybe there is too much different between a real BS and the aftermarket kit or the BS has different axles.

We will see what the Mercedes dealer can do about it.
If it will be really a problem or risk to my fenders, then I have to buy other wheels.

About the quality I don't know if it is good or not, I don't have any clue, but I think it is good, I like the gloss black finish.

Next week my car will be painted, after that I take my car to the Mercedes dealer and I hope what they can do for me….

Not sure about Holland's MB dealers but here in the states, the MB dealer is the last place I would go for custom work and or advice. They are clueless when it comes to aftermarket.

You mean this wheel? :

I have my wheels H20 dipped in carbon, much better and stronger than wrap it….

Actually when I always have something installed on my car, I always have it checked by the MB dealer for safety.
This time they offer me to help with my wheels...

I don't think ur dealership can do much about ur wheels. U only have 2 solutions:

1) shave the backplate on the wheels to raise the offset. (If it can be done safely)

2) run stretched tires .. And hope for the best. Lol

damn..its suck...thats why u never go really too much on the edge aggressive tires...leave room for other mistake and leave room incase like this to happen....u know what i mean ?

either the kits, or wheels have screw u up...so u can't do anything about the kit anymore, i would get new wheels for safety, since u don't want to ruin the kits, it will bother u forever....u want ride it and enjoy it

I think I will do do the option 1 + 2.

I didn't know if it is possible to raise my offset.
I have taken some pics with my iPhone, i didn't know how to measure the offset so here are some photos:

So can I change my offset to raise it with 1 or maybe 2 cm?
Will it not be a problem when driving?

Thanks again for the tip

I think the Velos wheels will only fit a real Black Series, not to a aftermarket kit I guess.

Big chance I have to buy some new wheels for my wife's safety.

So changing the offset will not be an option?

I suggest talking with Velos and finding out the lowest offset they run with this exact same wheel. That will give you a good idea of what can safely be shaved if you choose this route. Then be damn sure your machine shop of choice knows what the hell they are doing.
Other hand, see if Velos can exchange them if you pay shipping of both sets. May take a while for new wheels to come in but at least they will be right.
From the pics I wouldn't suggest going over 1cm, but that also depends on how counter sunk your stud bolts are.

I think I will buy the tires first and see how the wheels fit my car.
If it sticks too much outside or there will be other problems, then I will not use the wheels for my project, I don't want to take any risk.

I put so much money in this project I would rather buy new ones, then ruin some day my kit

I hope this wheels will fit my other ML 63 which is my daily car.
I think what has happened between me and Velos, they dunno change the wheels I think...

Problem now: how get I find new wheels that is in stock for my project???
My car will be ready at 16/17 december and 20 december will come the film crew to make a clip about my project….

I would think your options at this point should be endless for wheels. I would find out your current offset on the Velos wheels and buy a new set 20mm less than those. You should be able to get serious concavity from that!

Damn, pimping my car is more complicated that I thought.
That's why I learn a lot of this forum, especially about the aftermarket.
We only have here a small aftermarket…

I think I gonna do this:

Buy Monday some tires, go to my body shop and install the wheels and I show you some pictures (this time I use my camera and not iPhone)

If you guys thinks it looks very bad, then I will buy new ones.
Now I will find out my current offset, like Autosport7 said: 20mm less than Velos

Tomorrow I go to a big car show in Germany Essen, I hope I can score some new ones...

Not knowing Velos offset from the start made it very difficult. We could have compared with Craiger wheels offset & maybe saved u some headaches.

On the other hand, Craiger used the OEM kit & u used the aftermarket kit, so this is tricky. Lol

Before mounting the tires, I would ask Velos opinion based on ur pics, maybe they can send u a different offset for a lil extra cost. Mounting tires normally void the return policy.

Oh man, I finally found out the Velos wheels will never fit my car

Like I said, the front wheels stick 1,9 cm out but the rear wheels not: the rear wheels hit the body inside and the suspension!

Fortunately, I was at the car show in Essen Germany and I scored some new wheels from Prior Design where I bought my kit too.
These are almost the similar concave wheels but not forged, but for me a temporally good solution because there was no way I could find the right wheels before my car will be paint this Thursday.
So they will be my winter wheels and then I have plenty of time to look for other wheels for the summer.

The wheels have the similar model like the Velos, but 2 less spokes, but I can live with that for now.
At least I have them in time for painting.

Here are some pics:

Just don't think my front bumper is angle, they were busy when I was coming with my new wheels

I will use the Velos wheels for my ML 63…

I almost bought the spoiler from mode carbon, but then I was thinking I could have them create a new bigger spoiler like mode carbon but little different and bigger.
If it will be ready, it will be laminated with carbon.

I hope it will be nice, if it still looks **** I can always buy the mode carbon spoiler. But for now I have my own unique spoiler

I am still thinking should I buy the hydraulic lift system from KW, when I see my wheels it seems it is not necessary but it can be handy.
Only the price: starts from 3250 euro

Cannot wait for the final result, almost ready!

The new wheels look like a great fit.

It's really messed with the Velos wheels. I apologize for pointing you to that thread.
I would have never thought they would sell you wheels that will not fit your car.
Just ridiculous.

I hope they will fit your ML63. Just remember to run the same tire size in front and rear because of the 4matic wheel drive.

This is the problem you run into when dealing with a company who do not solely supply wheels.

BS wheels would never have fit directly, even if you did use genuine BS kit. The C63 sedan has a different track and width set up completely different to the BS. Your wheels should have been custom made, using measurements taken from your kit. A real tyre shop, a real rim manufacturer like HRE would ask you these questions before sending wheels on assumption. Velos should of asked questions if they do not want to disclose offsets and disk type, to figure if the wheels would fit. I have 20x9 and 20x10 on my c63 the fitment could not be better, as the wheels were specifically made for the c63 sedan.

h.
