What is the context??
The speeds were within 1 mph
Time 0.6 sec
Looked like the M had a jump on it and the AMG was reeling it in
The gap was getting smaller

There is no way a 425 HP crank car made over 500 wheel
It makes 375 at the wheels according to rototest
They do a 12 step test 5 sec measurement at each step
ISO and DIN certified
They are not a tuner but an independent testing authority
To go from 375 to over 500 is a >33% gain
That means they cranked the boost up st least 6 psi
Good luck with warranty and longevity

The new M3 makes 400whp stock. It's definitely underrated from the factory.

Both those cars are owned by ModeCarbon. They lined them up but the driver on c63 had a bad start. I will let ModeCarbon chime in on this as they were driving these cars. I do want to note that the M3 was a manual and driven by a EX PRO RACER. I was at the event and witnessed this. Hope this clears some things here...

They do tend to fly a little under the radar, but if you are a BMW enthusiast of any kind and into modding, you would for sure know who Burger Tuning is. They are pretty knowledgeable on the BMW platforms.

To any new M owner: congrats. But my car has an exhaust that doesn't need to be played on the stereo.

Ingenieur, I appreciate your search for factual data, but there's a real trend : the new M3/4 is severely underrated from the factory. I don't know how, why, how come some magazines have it tied with the C63 507, but those are real world proofs.
BTW here's another video where you can see the old vs new M3 on a (heartbreaking) dyno:
