Do all facelift C63s have fold down seats or is that an option?
I am not sure if there is a specific method or not, the manual says to look for two handles from the trunk area but I don't have those, is there another way to fold the seats down or was this a specific option the facelifts?
Thanks for any help ,

Are you guys sure it's standard on all sedans? I'm positive mine didn't have any handles.
I'll check again tonight after I get back from work (drove the beater today since it's gonna pour).
I tried to lower the rear to see how much difference the exhaust sounds when lowered, couldn't figure how to and did not notice anything like Purple picture above...which would have been very obvious.

For starters, look and see if you can see the split in the seat like that. From behind its unmissable. Handles arent super obvious if you are in a black car for example.

On a few data cards I have seen an option 287 Through-Loading Feature which I think must refer to folding rear seats as our cars only have folding seats as a through loading feature to the trunk. I think that perhaps the folding rear seats may be optional on some C63s depending on the seating options on the car.

Yup, I need to get my eyes checked. Those two pull handles were there for sure.
Will drive the car tomorrow and see if the exhaust is louder than with the seats up.
Is it louder that much to be noticeable with the seats down?

Good deal, taking the car out for the first time with seats down since ownership haha.
By the way, your videos and thread with Mike H pipe and Mike's deleted resonator made me bite the bullet, his setup will be arriving on Thursday. I can't wait to hear how the car will be with those installed.
You still love that setup?

^ Which videos? My white or black c63?
I do love it, especially with the seats down. No drone and in C mode the car is as tame as it is from factory, throw it in S+/M and start ripping on it and it is a whole new ball game.
The only thing I would like to add at this point are headers, but just for the power. I'd probably put the resonator back in if I ever got around to doing that. I just don't want to mess with emissions and inspections.

Yea, I'm in same boat about headers. Not only with deleting primaries, but getting a tune as well. I also have factory warranty left and wouldn't touch that stuff until at least after warranty is up. Nobody is touching my ECU til then. Even then, not sure if I want the headache but we will see. The power is all in the headers with this car. This is my weekend/summer car, so I don't mind it being extremely loud.
What brand are you thinking? With the recent MBH headaches, I'm leaning towards MHP with high flow cats or maybe Benzworks, not sure if they're still around.

The white car. You posted a launch vid and also a downshift blip and mini burnout video. That had me hooked immediately on the sound, and I bet it sounds much better in person as most of these vids don't do justice for the sound.

I just had MHP/ARH headers installed. I couldn't have been happier with MHP and ARH. They answered the phone and emails quickly and worked with me. The sound is insane! Above 2500 rpm it might scare people though. Cruising in C is quiet, especially on the freeway.

Everything from the resonator back is stock. I can't imagine my setup with a resonator delete too. You might need to recalibrate your version of "loud" with that. Haha.

Lifting this question instead of creating a new thread. I have a 2011 C63 estate with 287 THROUGH-LOADING FEATURE in the VIN.
Do I have folding rear seats as standard or through 287?
All info online is main for sedan / coupe

Never seen a estate without the possibility to fold the rear seats (C63 or any other car).
