Supercharged CLK W209 V8 55 AMG Kompressor
Supercharged V6 conversion Diary
Hi friends,
I intend to swap my CLK 200 W208 engine (136hp) to a supercharged 2.6 V6 engine with C32 AMG Kompressor : I would like to reach over 300 Hp.
This is my third conversion, last year I swapped CLK W209 240 V6 engine to V8 AMG Kompressor, I reached from 170hp to 525hp, but I did not post a thread here, I just participate to a post at crossfire forum "V8 Crossfire Conversion Diary".
I just bought a C240 2.6l v6 engine and its 6 speed gearbox coming with harness, ECU, then I will boost with a C32 AMG supercharger that I already got.
Then will unlock ECU and flash it with C32 amg K binfile and finetune, Both ECUs belongs same family Bosch ME2.8 29F400BB Flash.
I also have to adapt engine cable harness to fit Kompressor sensors, because there is a difference: 320 engine have a MAF and C32 K have a temprature sensor and intake manifold pressure sensor.
Some changes on injectors, exhaust, belts and pulleys have to be done ...
To do this, I have a solid luggage in automotive electronics: chiptuning, immo off, and also in mechanics.
I'll post you pictures as long as this thread is alive, and your remarks are welcome.
RDV next week when I receive parts: engine, gearbox, ECU ...

[QUOTE=kanzus1;3902013]Hi friends,
This is my third conversion, last year I swapped CLK W209 240 V6 engine to V8 AMG Kompressor, I reached from 170hp to 525hp.
Hi kanzas.
I'm interested in your build. I have a question though! Why would you come down from a car producing 525hp to ONLY 300hp? I take it on your previous conversion you upgraded the brakes and suspension (in effect turning your car into a standard AMG beater). So why start over? what happened to the car?

Supercharged V6 conversion Diary
[quote=Pauljay;3902751]
Thank you for interest,
The new born CLK 55 Kompressor is OK and alive, it got a lifting after I install a 6 piston AMG/BREMBO Caliper brakes and 360mm disk brake. I also installed RIEGGER BODYKIT and paint the car in White Perl Color.
I've chosen to tune up this old W208 to only 300hp supercharged V6 in order to use the car usually, it's a kind an every day car, caus' driving 525hp everyday to go to office is quite dangerous for my Driving lisence . And I think this swap is a real challenge, because original electronic installation is far away from the engine and electronic I will transplant.

Thanks for the info.
It makes sense.
I'm loving your ride. It needs lowering though, or is it just the picture. The wheels are tight (same as mine)!
Good luck with the build. Post pics as you go along.

Here We Are, Let's GO !
Hi,
I received expected items: engine, gearbox ... (160 Kg parcel).
I first have to check fitment and compare oil pan of both engines: the original CLK W208.335 engine type 111.945 and the V6 taken from C-Class W203.061 engine type 112.912.
I wonder if I have to change oil pan so the engine can fit the rack (fr=cremaillere).
Please have a look on these pictures, you will notice that oil pan curve are different: one have engine front position (W208), and the other is placed on back position engine (W203).
engine 112.912 (W203):
Engine 111.945 W208.335:
So the solution is to change oil pan (N° 5) like picture below, and also oil pump.
Searching for oil pan and oil pump ... To be continued

Waiting for Oil pan ...
Hi,
My local MB dealer annouce me 259€ price for oil pan, of course very expensive, so thanks to German Eb**y, i found this one for 99€ (need to wash ).
A 112 014 07 02 upper oil pan:
A 112 010 06 28 lower oil pan (for v8 and v6)
I'm lucky because lower oil pan is the same one as the 113 engine V8, witch i already have thanks to my last v6 to v8 conversion.
I wonder if I have to change oil pump also, I will see clearly when receive the oil pan.
Karim.

2003 CLK240
Hi everybody,
I know this is an older thread and I'm not even sure if it's active anymore but I'll give it a try
My car is a CLK 240 and I was wondering would it be able to mount the C32 SC on it since they share the same block. Also I'm interested in any performance upgrades that could be done to this engine since an engine swap is out of my budget/knowledge...
I'm open to any suggestions.

Can this be done?
I don't have the right engine but I'm curious if the clk240 would fit a c class kompressor if installed correctly. What would it take to do so.. sorry I haven't found my answer and this same question arised so we would like to know. Thanks in advance kompressor superbs
