Gavrocool,
But prior design bumper is also for non-facelifted model. either way you will need to modify it. I am more than sure that good body shop can do that. But well done, my respect to you.

I will still advise you to make custom rear bumper. Car will look unique.

you have to reprogram the control unit and some wire need to be change ...

The front is quite easy because we will change the bumper anyway.I have ordered the parts for the front. When they arrive I will post all the info.

Im looking forward to convert my e350 sedan, but on the sedan the hood is different and i think i will have the same problem with the tail lamps as you do because the lower part of the old tail lamp is boxier than the new one :/
And so is in the sedan, you can see it by looking at both joints where the rear bumper fits to the rest of the car (the "L" line):

Gavrocool: Im looking forward to hear more from your attempt. As im planning to facelift my E Coupe as well. Did you update your SAM Unit or ECU at Mercedes's dealership or did you send it to a local garage? Thanks before.
