The problems begin. We have to change the rear bumper as well.Decided to go with the new rear bumper from PRIOR PD550 but if the rear lamps won't fit i will take a second thought.

That sucks about the bumper, but it's awesome that you're pioneering this conversion! Good luck and I hope the other stages go more smoothly!

Gavrocool,
But prior design bumper is also for non-facelifted model. either way you will need to modify it. I am more than sure that good body shop can do that. But well done, my respect to you.

I think the right choice is for me to focus at the front and wait for some Tuners to release something for the 2014 model.

In my opinion, it will not be good idea. It is the same as you buy OEM 2014 bumper and therefore you will loose all the tune you made on rear part.
I will still advise you to make custom rear bumper. Car will look unique.

Either you change the SAM unit, either you can modify the old one.It is not difficult. The bumper is the problem,we need to change it.
The front is quite easy because we will change the bumper anyway.I have ordered the parts for the front. When they arrive I will post all the info.

2010 Mercedes E350
Im looking forward to convert my e350 sedan, but on the sedan the hood is different and i think i will have the same problem with the tail lamps as you do because the lower part of the old tail lamp is boxier than the new one :/

And so is in the sedan, you can see it by looking at both joints where the rear bumper fits to the rest of the car (the "L" line):

It would be helpful to know what (if any) facelift parts will fit our older pre-facelift W/A207 cars. I'd love to update my front grille to a newer SL style...

Gavrocool: Im looking forward to hear more from your attempt. As im planning to facelift my E Coupe as well. Did you update your SAM Unit or ECU at Mercedes's dealership or did you send it to a local garage? Thanks before.
