You will need a set of manifold guages and R134 freon and its a good idea to have a leak detector to inspect for leaks
It would be best to have a pro do the A/C recharge

if so run them to see if it could be a sensor or some other malfunction causing the problem.
If low on r134a do as Mark said, have a pro locate the leak and fill it properly. No use having it all leak out again

Your Right

I had a pro replace the compressor and dryer but I did not do hoses

If the compressor and dryer is fine where else could it be leaking?

The evaporator could be leaking. To test close all the a/c vents but the passenger vent. set the manual high blower a/c on. Then close the car over night. Next morning use freon leak detector insert into pass air vent, then turn key on. If the evap is leaking freon will be trapped in the plenum and when the fan blows the air out of the a/c duct the alarm will go off indicating freon inside the car. IF this happens your evap is most probably the problem. This might be where your leak is located. Hope it isn't ,, $$ to change. Best of luck.
