Looks like there is no such thing as front camber arms...only front camber bushings for our cars. Seems like KMAC is the only option?

Camber bolts got mine in spec for alignment. About $15 per side.

That's probably what I will do too. What brand camber bolts did you purchase?

Acdelco 45K18036

For the rear I bought Specialty Products 28855 bushings.

How long have you been running Acdelco bolts up front? Any issues? Also, what is max camber, +1.75 and -1.75?

6 months. Not aware of any problem. I don't remember if they're +/-1.5* or 1.75*.

Their catalogue says it fits all E-Class 2010-16 except AMG.

@Kp1 - did you do the install yourself? I've noticed that my E550 only has one bolt, not two, in the strut/spindle assembly.

Also, do you recall what size mm bolt they sent you? The reason why I ask is because the Acdelco 45K18036 bolt they sent me is really skinny in diameter in comparison to the OEM bolt i have circled.

is that ^^ where the camber bolts go? oh shidd it looks way more simple to replace than i thought , install new ones (instead the ones you have circled) , take it to alignment and thats it? im assuming...

yup that's where the bolt goes. Seems pretty easy. It's just with the directions supplied from Acdelco is shows an upper and lower bolt, not just one.

as far i as know only one bolt needs to be replaced. (did it come with 2 bolts per side or just one?)
thanks Chris , always thought it was more difficult and only can be done at a shop.

yes you are correct, only one bolt needs to be replaced. I'm gonna give it go now. I'll place a jack under the hub so that when I remove the existing bolt the assembly wont sag. That way I can easily push the new camber bolt into the strut/spindle holes.

NICEE thats what i do too , i use my 2 ton jack to lift the car up , and then the one that came with the car to hold suspension pieces in place or to raise or lower them to put bolts in/out )

PLEASE POST PICS , and your review on how did it go. i been debating if i should get those for a minute , and if all is good ima get them too. (cheaper than changing tires more often than needed)

I did install the camber bolts myself. I don't recall what diameter they are. The eccentric is the same diameter as the oem bolt and the rest of the camber bolt must necessarily be narrower or it wouldn't work.

I'm not sure that's the right application to adjust a strut like you have on that E550.

ok bad new. These Acdelco camber bolts only work if you have them oriented for positive camber (tab facing outside of car). If you orient the bolt for negative camber (tab toward inside of car) it will hit the assembly and not sit flat...

I'm thinking about cutting the tab off to get them to sit properly

yeah I'm still going to torque the bolts down to proper spec. I'm not sure if I will be able to get any negative camber when all is said and done because I think these two lower bolts will not allow the spindle/knuckle to move. Even when I had the camber bolt in the positive orientation, as I would turn the bolt I didn't notice any change in camber. We'll see...

I honestly don't think the camber bolts are made for the E550. Just the E350.

I didn't shave down the tab yet but I'll probably do that tmrw.
