Front axle vectoring, all the cool kids are doing it ... lol
Just finished reading the MT article on the new NSX, where they are doing the same, with electric motors, and reaping some major handling benefits with it. Basically, pulls front into the apex as opposed to rear system that angels the tail end.

Here is the first article that I have seen with "expected" price:
http://www.scienceworldreport.com/ar...lease-date.htm
New 2017 Mercedes E63 AMG: Release Date And Price
"The new 2017 Mercedes E63 AMG units are expected to hit the American showrooms in summer 2017. Although no official announcement has yet been made, the E63 S model will be arriving around three months later.
The new 2017 Mercedes E63 AMG is expected to cost around £75k and the E63S over £83k. Stay Tuned to SWR for more latest news and updates on the new 2017 Mercedes E63 AMG."
(We know that the U.K. price is not a direct British pound to U.S. dollar conversion, but for the sake of getting a ballpark price: £75k = $91k, £83k = $101k).

if you can only make it pure RWD when running in
manual mode, that's going to leave a big margin of error during the roll races. Too bad they didn't allow for that with quick auto shifting in S+

Is the new car also still using air suspension for the rear?

What was the price of the 2016 E63S AMG in the UK? I think the 2016 price in the US was about $100K.

I'm also wondering about what exactly causes the lag.
I used to have a 2013 c63 amg with same MCT transmission as e63s and it never lagged from a stop. It always went right away as soon as throttle was touched.
So I'm guessing it must be the TCU torque limit which causes the lag, and not hardware related to the wet clutch initial engagement.

These tail lights look so bad to me they are a complete show stopper in my book. Really cheap looking. WTH were they thinking? Wow.

All going downhill at this point.
Plus engine size getting smaller, sound also getting worse.
Hate it.

The overall look of the rear is very puny looking. Makes the tires look tiny, looks Hyundai or Toyota like (even Lexus looks better)

I like that they went thinner in the seatback (very Porsche like), could be a start to a much more improved car.
The dynamics for the current MB lineup is been very very confusing IMO

"For maximum efficiency, Mercedes-AMG has equipped the V8 engine with AMG Cylinder Management cylinder deactivation system. This technology first debuted on the SLK55 and helped to achieve impressively low consumption and emission values and is now being used with a turbocharged engine from the high performance sports car brand for the first time. In the partial load range cylinders two, three, five and eight are deactivated, which crucially lowers the fuel consumption."

Yeah, it looks like it is the exact same system:

LOL ^^^
You guys are lucky to own the "the boy engines" but....
want lowly non AMG performance "sometimes":lol
Seriously tho.Wouldn't cylinder deactivation add to the difficultly tuning?
