Did you dyno the car before and after cat delete.
Would you offer your impression if car feels much stronger ?

Just a question....
Is the tune going to be that much more different than a stage 1 tune
By uncorking the exhaust you're allowing the turbos to spin more free thus allowing the turbos to work more efficiently
Won't the stage 1 tune compensate for that?
Just askin....

I'm real interested in Ali's results, particularly if he goes with the Vtech stage 2 tune as this is the route I want to take with my car. It would be real interesting to compare his stage 2 with exhaust mods results to my bone stock with stage 1 tuning.
I really need to get my car to a track soon. I'm thinking low 11's won't be a problem

turbo spool sounds al lot louder and better.
i didn't try with one of my friends to see the diffrence at least in performance.
but if it is true that deleting cats are giving 6RWHP, i would rather to but them back.
i can feel it is pulling stronger, but i have to try it by compairing with one of my friends that i tried with before.

i didn't dyno the car
any deleting in cats for a FI car will sure make some power.
infact, i saw the stock cats, they were short and either 300 or 400 cell.
they are not restrictive as 55k cats.

One would think you would gain far more by removing the cats.
Do you have access to a dyno?
I'm anxious to see how you run against your friend

Which would be considered the most restrictive in terms of releasing air flow to the turbos? The Cat or the Resonator?
I'm still not decided if I will go with straight pipes or keep either the Cat or Resonator.

If you drop the cell count in the cats on a turbo you will get more air and you should get more power.
