The Mercedes G-Class isn’t exactly the most refined vehicle in Mercedes’ lineup. The design has been around for decades, and in that time, little has changed besides the interior of the SUV. However, over the years, Mercedes have brought out a few models that are absolutely ridiculous in every conceivable way possible. Chief among those are the AMG tuned versions.
However, today, we aren’t talking about the absurd AMG versions, we’re talking about something much crazier than even Mercedes can come up with. We’re talking about Brabus. For years now, Brabus has been taking AMG models and turning up the dial past 11, past 12, and sometimes, as in this case, past 2,375. What we have here is a Brabus G800.
The G800 uses a twin-turbocharged V12 engine that produces a staggering 800 horsepower and 740-plus lb-ft of torque. It’s an absolute monster, and nothing beats watching this monster take on supercar after supercar at the drag strip. Enjoy.
