Revealed: 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class Photos and Video

This week Mercedes-Benz released a teaser video and sketches of its upcoming GLA scheduled for introduction at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Now we present to you these photos, which Jalopnik says “appear to be early embargo images from Mercedes.”

Mercedes-Benz’s newest crossover will be based on the A-Class. As you can see from the images, the GLA’s interior makes heavy use of the A-Class parts bin. The same goes for under the hood: Car Magazine says Europeans will likely get the 1.8L four-banger diesel, and the gasoline 1.6L I4. Americans will probably get the same 2.0L I4 turbo found in the CLA250. Mercedes will also offer a GLA45 AMG, which could make its way to the United States.

Expect base pricing to be competitive with the BMW X1 at around $31,000.
