Want a 200-MPH C63? RENNtech’s Got You Covered
Do you think the engineers at AMG are a slightly nutty? Well, the guys at RennTech make them look tame by comparison. Never to settle for just enough HP, the German tuners take a perfectly fine AMG and give it even more go. Not like the standard C63 is some slouch, but RENNtech set out to make it even more maniacal. As you can see in the video below, the result is a C-class that can do near as close to 200 mph as you can get. So if you’re itching to feed that addiction to horsepower, we have some inside info to share with you on a tune that’s in development right now.
As seen on the MBWorld forum, a rep for RENNtech has shown us what this new ECU can do to wake up the W205. You’ll likely have to buy new lederhosen with every prod of the throttle. Both “S” and non-S models will see 610-horsepower, even on our standard 93-octane pump junk you’ll find at any Mobil Shell or BP. Unlike some of the other RENNtech offerings, you wont be able to utilize the OBD-II port for this upgrade. Parting with your beloved ECU for half a fortnight will be required. But it’s your RENNtech C63, so it’s worth it, right?
