By now, most here have already spent countless hours gawking at the color of the Green Hell Magno Mercedes-AMG GT R, which was officially unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

That freakish color is pretty tough to take your eyes off, right? And yet, there’s so much more to the new 2018 GT R all decked out in green, as highlighted in an AutoBlog report.

Below are a five performance facts on the new supercar, along with five of our favorite photos from the report on AMG’s new green machine, which was also showcased at Pebble Beach Concorus d’Elegance.

1) The GT R is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that cranks out 577 horsepower, a boost of roughly 70-HP over the GT S.

2) In addition to all that horsepower, the Mercedes-AMG GT R also packs 516 pound-feet of torque.

3) Pushing to raise the thrill factor, the GT R will shoot from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 198 miles per hour.

4) A number of carbon fiber aero bits give the new GT R an additional 342 pounds of downforce at top speed, when compared to the standard AMG GT.

5) To ensure that the GT R lives up to all the high expectations, the AMG was developed around the level of performance it takes to be competitive on the legendary Nürburgring, aka the Green Hell. Seems fitting, eh?
