Wildest premium sedan ever by Brabus
Brabus is a tuner that has made quite a name for itself modifying Mercedes-Benz cars. And they won’t stop until someone tells them that their kits no longer inspire the already inspired. That won’t likely happen any time soon, especially now that they’ve just released their take on the S600, turning it into the most wildest premium sedan ever–the Brabus SV12 R Biturbo 800.
Quite a long name, isn’t it? With good reason, though. This monster of a luxury sedan will have 800 horses in its stable, accessible at 5,500 rpm with torque peaking at an astounding, never before felt or seen 1,420Nm at a mind-boggling 2,100 rpm. If you can get that much power at such low engine speeds, then you’ve got a heck of a lot of power throughout your right foot’s range of movement.
If you want to translate all those figures into actual performance stats, you’ll have to deal with the engine’s electronic limiter. It caps off the car’s top speed at 350 km/h, which happens to be 10 km/h faster than the current Biturbo 750, by the way. From 5.5 liters, the existing engine was bumped up to 6.3 liters through crankshaft, cylinder and piston upgrades. Reworked cylinder heads and camshafts puts icing on the cake to complete the engine setup.
We don’t need to tell you that this car rides on some pretty impressive suspension and tire hardware to tame all that power. So we won’t. Your next option is to check out the gallery below or pay Brabus a visit.
