A few weeks back, the featured photo of the week was Lewis Hamilton in an SLS AMG Black Series trying to make the tires last as long as the Pirellis on his F1 W04. It’s always good to see a car go sideways, but we all want to know how fast it goes around a track. When Top Gear gets an SLS Black Series and puts it on the test track, I think it’ll be in the top ten. My proof? Well it’s equal parts intuition and watching this video that’s our commercial break.
Shot in southern France on public roads and the Paul Ricard Test Track, the SLS Merc sounds great and looks glued to the road. I really can’t wait until some automotive magazines get a chance to drive and review the car.
