The Dartz May Make You Look Like a Showoff, Especially in 24-Karat Gold

Latvia’s current offering to the automotive world is this: the Dartz Prombron “Black Alligator.” GLS63 AMG underpinnings provide the base, with a completely custom body sitting atop. Carbon fiber and Kevlar are used on the bulk of the new body, which is completely unrecognizable from a GLS63. As with their previous creations, big and boxy military styling is carried over. Finishes were teased in various colors, including urban camo, black, and 24K gold. Yep. High-risk individuals can opt for a Kevlar titanium body to fend off pesky bullets.

Nothing was left alone on the interior, and it’s only when you’re inside that the “alligator” in the Black Alligator makes sense. Seating and dash surfaces are covered in various different types of animal skin, with the final choice of trim being up to the customer. Actually, everything is up to the customer, which makes perfect sense considering you’ll be spending easily a million dollars or more on the Dartz.

Creative touches from customers are shown in the gallery below, with examples of elaborate seats and even steering wheels. That steering wheel, by the way, has gold buttons and a diamond inlay on the top-most part.

Under the hood, AMG underpinnings remain. But you have a wide choice of power options. Cost-conscious buyers will have to make do with 760 horsepower, where as those who simply must have it are permitted to increase horsepower to 1,600.
