My personal taste in cars goes as follows. Racecars are the best. Most supercars are cool. Wagons are love. And Miata isn’t always the answer. But throughout those categories, one automotive subculture that divides opinion is the Stance Nation.

For those who have never heard of Stance Nation, it’s essentially an offshoot of the JDM crowd that has made its way to the rest of the industry, and involves lowering your car on bags, and putting crazy amounts of camber into your wheels and tires.

For me, modification should make your car handle better, have more horsepower, or sound like a Norse God of thunder. It’s meant to improve your car. However, there are those who believe stancing cars makes them look better, and honestly, while the cars are sitting statically, they do look pretty cool. It’s only when you start driving them that opinions can become more divided, but if people are thrilled about looks over performance, and that’s what makes them happy, then I’m all for it. It appears Rebellion Automotive is the first shop to slam a new W205 C63. Cheers to their bold attitude.

The car got new wheels, and is using Gepfeffertuk V3 suspension. The shop deleted the magnetic ride in favor of a more traditional air suspension setup. It’s also running the shop’s plug-and-play ECU tune, which gives the mighty C63 an additional 65 horsepower. But what do you think of this? Sound off in the comments or on the forum.

Bottom line: we applaud Rebellion Automotive for being what appears to us to be the first shop to slam a new W205 Mercedes-AMG C63. While this may divide opinions, you can’t argue with more variety in the world.
