GLE Spotted Winter Testing
Winter is coming… Okay, for most of the world, winter’s already here. But it’s still fun to quote Ned Stark whenever possible. Plus, with winter comes winter testing for automakers.
When manufacturers build a new car, they need to subject said car to loads of temperature extremes. This is in order to make sure that the car will actually function wherever in the world it might end up. That being said, we just spotted the new Mercedes GLE Coupe undergoing its initial winter testing without much camouflage.
According to our sources, we’re likely to see a production ready model at this year’s North American Auto Show in Detroit in January. Meaning, we won’t have to wait all that much longer to see this Coupe in the flesh. And she sure looks good in spy shots, for now. It definitely looks like the GLE Coupe will take the fight to BMW and their X6.
