Looks Like Linkin Park Had a Blast Driving Mercedes-AMGs in the Snow

As a California native, Mike Shinoda isn’t exactly accustomed to winter weather. But with the chance to drive some of the most ultimate driving machines on the planet, he and his band-mates from world-wide phenomenon Linkin Park couldn’t say no.

In northern Sweden is a place called Arvidsjaur. It’s not far from the Arctic Circle, and it is there that Mercedes-AMG sets up shop for their Winter Sporting Academy. It’s one of the few places where you can experiment and get instruction while driving on top of conditions that are typically dangerous.

Obviously, the most notable car in the stable is the Mercedes-AMG GT S. Under the hood is a 4.0-liter V8 with more than 500 horsepower. Yep, a rear-wheel-drive car that goes to 60 in less than four seconds… and they’re driving on ice. Check out the photos below!
