GLC 63 is a 671 HP, 752 lb.-ft 4-Cylinder Hybrid

The GLC 63 S borrows the trick C 63 S E Performance’s four-cylinder hybrid drivetrain to deliver its staggering performance. AMG’s venerable M139l 2-liter turbocharged inline-four gains electrically assisted turbocharging and port and direct fuel injection to make 469 HP and 402 lb.-ft of torque to drive Merc’s 9G-tronic nine-speed transmission all on its own.

If that’s not enough Affalterbach then adds a rear axle drive unit incorporating an e-motor that churns out an extra 201 HP and 236 lb.-ft all by itself. It drives its own two speed set-up complete with electronically controlled limited-slip differential.
