Photos of the Week: Down Two Benzes, Up one Ferrari
The most accurate way to describe this week’s Photos of the Week is “bitter & sweet”. It’s not “bittersweet” for two reasons. Let’s start with the sweetness:
Photographically speaking, these are 21 apple pies with about a metric ton of brown sugar on top of each one. The owner and photographer, Ronnie Renaldi, certainly knows how to make his E55 and SL55 AMG the apples of your eyes. Okay, okay, even on a Mercedes forum I think it’s safe to say he does just as good of a job for his Ferrari F430; it’s not German engineering, but I find it pretty easy to look past that when I can’t take my eyes off his photos.
As for the bitterness? Well, he no longer owns either of these star-bearing beauties. He has moved on to the F430. This makes me bitter because neither of those Mercs has moved into my garage.
Actually, this is a tad bittersweet – the sale of his Benzes means he has moved on to other forums, and while we wish him and his new Italian stallion the best, we will miss his photography.
