Renntech E55 AMG Drag Races Corvette ZR1
Full disclosure: The AMG red lights, so he technically didn’t win this race. That said, the Corvette owner probably wasn’t too happy to see that ET. Obviously, the AMG isn’t stock (or else it would’ve been stomped), but honestly, it hasn’t been worked over an insane amount. It’s pushing more boost thanks to a pulley swap and a tune from RENNtech. In case you’ve forgotten, those are the guys responsible for this outrageous CLS. Also, it’s got drag radials. So there’s that.
With all that work, it’s almost an even race. Especially when compared to your average ’05 E-Class. Maybe they can get a rematch where the Benz doesn’t get over eager. That’s a race I’d like to see.
