Talking to Steve yesterday, and this is what we spoke about mostly.
With a 1.71 60ft, there seems to be alot more in that girl!

Nice win......
The ZR-1 laid down a miserable 2.23 60' time, but still trapped 128. I'm no expert but it seems like cars that can run that sort of MPH should be capable of a high-10 second pass?? Street tires perhaps?

I've seen that car plenty of times. It is fast for sure. Steve is a great driver also. He's driven my car at PBIR and ran back to back runs (no cool down just straight back to the waterbox) and ran identical times,ETs, and 60ft.

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
Seems Z06's do better at tracks vs. ZR-1s which so far seem to be miserable at launching. E55 red lined but still pulled in a quicker ET, though slower trap. Nice run considering the conditions.

10 bucks says that car has headers and TB and no way a 168 makes that kind of whine
but Id love to be proven wrong tho,not hating but Iv had 2 55s and modded the hell out of them and know what it takes to run a mid 11 sec pass

Not to be a jacka$$, ((well ok to be a jacka$$) but since the zr1 has a supercharger too and that vid doesn't include a on board mic couldn't that whine also be from the zr 1?

I think its possible but most likely has some intake mods and cooling to help that 168 pulley/tune. I ran 11.59@119 on street tires with VRP headers,175mm pulley and a box tune. I had a low 1.6x 60ft and it was in the 80's that day.

Elliot knows SGC pretty well, he has always run very fast times. His CL65AMG ran a 10.28 at PBIR on stock tubros and some weight reduction. His SL65 AMG ran a 10.8 with airbox mods and tune only.
Ran Renntechs CLS into 10's easily too:

Here we go again. I'm surprised no one has claimed the car is on juice yet.
I see this car all the time and have driven it. It has a pulley and tune, that's it. A good cool, dry night, DRs and you have an 11.6 sec car. There is a point of diminishing returns with huge pullies.
Renntech knows what they are doing. If anyone spent some time to speak with Hartmut, they would be blown away by his knowledge. Maybe some of that experience comes from the 25 years he's spent developing these cars.
Bottom line, Renntech makes fast cars and you have to pay to play.

Ok, first thing is that the run doesn't even count since he got red lighted, secondly I was at a tune day, where a car was all rennteched out, lol
And had good power but the owner wanted to see if the tuner could pull out more power, well he ended up with 45hp more and 60tq more on mustang dyno and the power was all through the rpm, so just because it says renntech doesn't mean it's the best

I will look for my video with a 185mm pulley and my car sounded just like this one.
a 168 sounds like a stock car and this sucker is whining like it has a bigger blower under the hood.
heres my car with a 185 and its not even as loud as this supposed 168
