If you’re upgrading to LED lighting or adding custom lights to your ride, this Quake LED can handle all your needs.

Filaments are a thing of the past. If you’ve seen any lighting on a modern vehicle, LED lights are all over the place. Headlights, tail lights, interior lights, you name it. If you have something like a G-Wagen, you’ll have already thought about off-road lighting ideas. Quake LED’s universal light controller is exactly what you need.

The module is made to be discreet. All hardware from the system can hide within the dashboard. The only outward sign of new tech in your car would be a visor-clip remote control. This can control one light individually, and up to eight lights in total. You can also turn every light on, or every light off. The remote doesn’t need to stay attached to the visor, either. You can take the remote outside the vehicle, which is handy if you’re working outside of your car, such as at a camping site.

So what kind of lights would you add? Well, auxiliary light options are plentiful. At the very top the usual front facing lights are an obvious choice, but you can also have those smaller cube lights, too. Immediately above, some rear aux lights can be handy for cargo loading and trailer hitching.

In all, 60 amps worth of LED’s can hook up to the Quake LED system. Although, lighting is phased down from 20 amp, to softer led lights at 1.5 amp. Lower amp lighting like that could be used for interiors. Installation is very easy, too, although it’s never a bad idea to have a pro install it. A positive and negative terminal supply your main power source, and then you can attach your lights to eight different terminals. Route the wires to your new lights, and you’re all set.

Of course, the options for adding LED lights to your Mercedes are essentially limitless. And now, you have full control. Just about every kind of interior and exterior light can be made LED. You could even add underglow! Don’t worry, we won’t judge.
