You’re probably going to mad at one of your fellow forum members after you read this, but once the pangs of jealousy subside, you may just be happy your fellow forum member got a track day with the AMG GT S. You’ll certainly be happy for his review.
Car enthusiasts, especially Mercedes-Benz fans, were in for a treat when the Mercedes-Benz AMG Division decided to showcase nearly all of their products last week. Almost every car in the lineup of Mercedes-Benz AMG was put on display at the Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, California to the delight of the crowd and the media who were present.
According to various sources, the act was a show of appreciation for all Californians because about a third of all AMG sales in the U.S. were accounted from their State.
That the latest E63 AMG is a superlative car is already a given, having 560 on tap in a “family” sedan. German car enthusiasts know that Mercedes is pitting this car squarely against Audi and BMW. Many may disagree, but the latest iteration of AMG’s mid-size hammer is the best looking of the current super sedans. With gaping intakes at the front and an engine note that can come only from a large V8, this ersatz family car will scare more than small kids.
