I don't see any 201's ever on the road's here. It's like I have the only one. I live in a city with 2 million people too. I see a lot of newer MB's but no 201's

It was put on the car when it was new. The car was painted & the body kit was installed by Mercedes Benz of San Antonio. They used to have a guy working there who customized the car's when they were new. There's a limited edition tag on the drivers front door with his name and the date of completion. "Ron Walker" "5/16/85" "#2" The tag is chrome. I went looking for another tag and found that one. It says in the owners manual "Paint work, Champagne Metallic #473"
I wish I could find that guy and have a cup of coffee with him. I'd sure like to pick his brain about my car.
Edit: I have yet to find another 201 painted the same color as mine. I've only found a few other MB's the same color.

REPAINT WITH ORIGINAL COLOR 2 YEARS AGO. 18X8 & 18X9 AMG MONOBLOCK II WITH FALKEN TIRES. EURO HEADLAMPS, CORNER LAMPS AND TAIL LIGHTS. CHANGED TO ORIGINAL PIPING FROM CATALYTIC TO TAIL PIPE. AMG TAIL PIPE. PAGER ALARM. ENGINE IS IN GREAT SHAPE. CLEAR BRA. HID 6K HEADLIGHTS AND FOG LIGHTS. H&R SPRINGS. AMG DOOR LOCK PINS. AMG PEDALS. ORIGINAL FLOOR MATS. AMG STEERNG WHEEL.
