I will for SURE get clear corners for my 2.6 but I wanted to know your input on certain headlights.

Those... Are they tacky? I can't find a car here with them and I want to know how they will look installed. Or should I just leave my stock headlights on.

Thank you.

asuming your car is pretty stock, I'd say tacky..I'd look for the euro headlights, those are cool. On the other hand, if you have those tacky matching tailights like on the ricer cars, you'd be fine. My 02..I love the body style of those by the way..nice cars.

even if your car was modded to all hell, those would look awful.

They also dont look stock and I love the stock look.

One more question, what about those cold air intakes on eBay for $150?

Useless. They suck in hot air and poorly at that. Drop a K&N in and it'll be better. In fact I have a K&N filter for the 2.6 available if you're interested. Ouch - that sounds like a setup, doesn't it?

Correct. Problem is that you won't find any aftermarket kit that does a better job. They all draw air in from under the hood and there just isn't a lot of room on the intake side of the engine bay. Running anything over the exhast side just heats the air.
After trying a dozen or so devices and gimmicks I found two solutions that worked best:
1) K&N filter in stock airbox
2) K&N filter in 260E airbox. For whatever reason the airbox from the 260 is about 30% larger. It's an inch or so taller, but still clears the hood. This is what I run now. There are still a few available through the wrecking yards.

Neither of these will give you a huge performance boost, but the 2.6 is such a dog that every little bit helps. You could also try the larger TB if you like spending money

The 260E box will fit right in without any cutting right? Ill start calling junk yards when I pass the newbie thing at my new job.

Question: Whats a TB? and if I take off the resonator will my car be a bit louder? I dont want it too loud like rice, I just want some noise out of the exhaust.

I wasnt really looking for any performance boosts as my car easily beats Civics at the stop light but I just wanted my engine to look pretty.

Thanks man!

TB = throttle body
My 190E 2.6 doesnt have a resonator. Its quite loud. I dont know what a stock 190 sounds like but this thing is quite loud and to me doesnt sound ricy.

I actually put a DynoMax muffler on mine. It's far from ricey, but gives it a nice deep tone that is slightly louder than stock. Also has a lifetime warranty and is a free flowing muffler.

Thank you.
You realize that they are for a 300E/W124, right? Unless you have a W124, they probably wont fit your 190E.....

question: does anyone know where I can get euro lenses? Presently, my 190 has two different brands on it. I just got the car last month.

thanks
