Hey guys, I'm usually over in the W211 forum but would like to possibly add a W201. I know we have classifieds but figure not everyone checks it and you are the experts on the W201. I'm interested in purchasing a SCCA prepped Mercedes race car, 190E or - Maybe you have one or know of one? Thanks in advance.

i drive a c43,,, and i just got the 190 for winter,, i LOVE IT! handles good, decent speed , get the 2.6 there good cars lots of things u can do to them too so it's a fun little side project while the c43 sleeps good luck!

Check out eBay. There is 84 euro spec 2.3-16v for sale there that is race preped.

Up in Canada is a race prepped 2.3-16 for sale; in Maryland there is a former 2.3-16 DTM racer/test car; finally in France there is a 2.5-16 race prepped car for sale.

Thanks for the replies. I am watching ebay and some racing websites, also got a buddy who races a CSR looking. The ebay car looks like a good track car, I'm looking for something more turn key and ready for SCCA without having to do any work.

France might be a little far, not sure about Canada but Maryland is at least in the US. Where can I get some more information on these 3 cars MTI? Thanks.

Flying Tiger in Vancouver was selling their racer.

It started out as a 2.3-8v and had a 2.3-16 engine and drivetrain transplanted into it. The car has been on and off the market for the last little while. Not sure if Eddy REALLY wants to sell. I imagine he would for "the right price".

I can be tempt to put on the market again. Or I will retore it and put into my museum later this year. It has a 250hp freshly build motor. But has been seat for 4 years. Needs a bit of TLC to be a front runner again. Before it went into retirement it gave me numerous race wins and a ICSCC championship.
