Black Housing:

"Chrome" Housing:

I've been noticing these two new types of headlights popping up on eBay and a few other places. Has anybody had experience with them, or heard about their quality? I think they look great in pictures, but I've tried without luck to find out what they look like installed, so if anybody has them or knows where to find a picture of them installed, please respond.

I've also noticed some new taillights on eBay.

"Chrome" Housing:

I apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere in the forums. If so, please respond with a link - the forum search option hasn't been working for me. Thanks for reading.

Considering how new these products are, as far as I know, this has nto been talked about. Nor, does anyone want to be the first to buy them. They look really clean. Choosing between the black and chrome is up to you and the color of your car.

I like the black personally, and if you have good luck with them, and they shine nice and bright and look nice, i will be getting the black ones so please let me know.

I say get them. What color is your car?

I also like the black ones over the chrome, but, considering that my car is champagne gold, the chrome would probably look slightly less out-of-place with the rest of the car. I have been, however, considering painting the car black. On a black car, I'd imagine that the black headlights would have sort of a Bently Arnage look (See Below).

Maybe the black housing can be removed and painted to match the car anyway, but, even unmodified, the black headlights should look great in any color 190E (Another Arnage Example Below).

You can probably guess what I wish my 190E would turn into!
I think you're very accurate, PhilipM3, in saying that nobody wants to be the first to buy them - I know I don't!
Thanks for the input, PhilipM3, and I'll let you know if I get either of them. Can't say for sure that I'll be "the first," because I try to be an educated buyer and there just isn't much out there yet about these lights, like you said.

Thanks for your help, Oneill 1! Those pics really help! Now I'm curious as to whether the black housing can be removed and painted, but that is really my own problem and I've just asked the ebay seller.

Don't do the the whole Rice burner look. Instead go for a clean REAL Euro look.

yes that looks great!! i think for my black car it will look good with the dark ones. Euro headlights are nice too but i have a 190e sportline, might as well make it sporty looking. Euros seem to look best on bigger models like a 560sel, cruisin in class.
