Im thinking of blacking out my stock rims when I black out everything else. Can I get some side shots of your car so I can see how the rims looks painted black? If you have any that would be great.

What a sick 190. What chevy engine is that?

Bought the motor off craigslist, he said it was from a 79 camaro or something like that

Why does your car sit so high? That doesnt look natural...

Is that flat black or spray painted or what? It looks really dull. Kind of neat.

The paint is 8 cans flat black spary paint and 2 qts flat black sparyed on with a wagner. I don't know if the v8 is lighter than the stock setup, it might be, that 4 cylinder was pretty heavy for what it was. The car also has an extreme amount of wieght reduction, no heater housing or anything as seen in the engine shots, and the interior is pretty minimal also. no headliner, doorpanels, dash or ahy factory switches. all neccesary features as far as lights, window switch, ignition, fan have been put on toggles. 4 gauges from autozone and thats it. No speedo, no gas gauge, no interior lights, just what is needed to drive the car down the road.

Jeez, got enough toggle's?
All you need now is a footprint gas pedal and some edelbrock stickers and your all set

Thats really funny.

Ok I see why the car looks like its painted flat black then and when you removes like 100+ pounds im sure it sits higher.

Why is your car painted flat black with a V8 swap and no luxury items?

Needed a project, so we did the swap, only got about $1,000 in the thing including the car. The car is mainly for fun, drive it every now and then, don't really need anything in it if it is just going down the street to do a burnout.

Didn't have to, but did remove everything bolted to it and welded up the holes for heater box. the front corners of the floor were trimed a little bit for transmission clearence.

Awesome! Let's put a Tunnel Ram on it with 2 4 Barrel Holley 650's. Some roller rocker's, better pushrod's, maybe change the head's out. I'd be trying to get 700 horsepower out of it... My root's are all Chevy.

2 year bump+
