New guy's 190E 16V.
Hi guys, long time Cossie owner, new to this site (signed up a couple of years ago I believe, but never returned after that).
Amazing amount of information on our beloved w201's here.
I have added a short video link to my car:
Cheers from Florida

Pluto is too far away anyways
I made the video over a year ago and car remains in perfect mechanical (and cosmetic) condition thanks to a custom cover in a closed garage; not to mention I only drove it 352 miles last year.
I did carefully removed the window tint (tired of the "remote controlled car" look, plus it shows the interior better).
Oh I also put brand new H&R sport shocks 100 miles (or six months ago).

I would keep that car forever if I were you! Absolutely stunning in every way.
And on a side note, what a dream of a driving route! Not necessarily overly twisty but I barely saw any other traffic. Where is that, if you don't mind my asking? Looks somewhere warm. Florida, perhaps?

I live in FL and had to fly to Long Island, NY to trailer the Cossie South.

Thank you for the compliments! You are right about being hard to part with a car like this one. It took me a year to find the one I wanted as lots of them have not taken care of, have been abused, irreversively modified or simply had not been properly maintained.

I agree. I love my Cossie and its not in HALF the condition yours is, yet. I assume you had your seats recovered with the Recaro logo. Nice touch. What exhaust is that? It has a nice rumble without being overbearing

They are easy to put on or peel off without leaving marks of any kind.
The exhaust is made by Borla. The PO had it installed back in 2008 (I bought the car in 2009). I also installed a cold air intake (by Wade) specifically designed for the 16V. I love the combined sound of these two, reversible mods.
You are right, although slightly underpowered, these are true drivers cars and a blast to drive.
Back when I had the C63, people would ask me which one I enjoyed driving the most ... I picked the Cossie with a third of the HP and half of the top speed . And don't get me wrong ... the C63 WAS A BEAST!!!

See, it must have been two years since the last time I checked in the REV and I forgot my password. Then I clicked on "forgot password" and the system does recognize my email address!
Got a message that I should contact the administrator if the site, sent two emails to him/her but never got a response so I guess I am out
